IRENE KHARISMA SUKANDAR
Irene Kharisma
Sukandar is a very talented chess player and looms high in her youth, she is
the First Female Chess Grand Master from Indonesia. The woman who is known to
have this beautiful face was born in Jakarta, April 7, 1992 was the second of
three children, the couple Singgih Heyzkel and Cici Ratna Mulya. At the time of
his high school he was often known as a student who often skipped school
because he had to practice every match and more strangely he did not memorize
the names of his classmates. Besides having a hobby of playing chess which led
to high achievements Irene also likes to read history books, play billiards,
listen to instrument music and akapela and likes to run in the morning to
always live a healthy life. Irene is often dubbed the proud daughter of
Indonesia because she is late in bringing the name of Indonesia to perfume her
achievements. Before becoming a well-known chess player, Irene had time to play
table tennis, because her father was a table tennis player, but then his
parents released Irene to choose the preferred sport and it turned out that
Irene preferred chess because for him playing chess was a brain exercise and
exciting, by practicing really Irene managed to enter the Bekut Utut Adianto
Chess School (SCUA) for free.
I idolized him
because of his intelligence in everything such as being smart at school and
outside school, being able to divide his time between his busy schedule,
especially his persistence in achieving a goal of making Indonesia famous by
playing chess, diligently exercising so that the body remained healthy, besides
encouragement and support from both people his parents were strong and did not
forget to worship God. Obtaining the title of Grand Master is not easy,
especially at the age of 16 years. In achieving the title must pass several
stages and have a high rating, and even then he did it seriously and in a short
time. He dared to take the risk of rarely going to school to achieve what he
wanted, in other words skipping school to learn to skip school in order to
learn chess game tactics. But Irene continued to receive lessons at school well
until she continued her graduate studies abroad precisely Webster University
St. Louis, United States.
